Travel is more than a destination —
it’s a process of discovery.

I was born in Istanbul in 1995. My first encounter with tourism began at the age of 16, when I worked serving tea in a carpet shop in Sultanahmet. That experience marked the first moment I realized how much I enjoyed communicating with travelers and listening to people’s stories.

I completed one year of my high school education in the Andalusia region of Spain. After returning to Türkiye, I graduated from Istanbul Çevre College, where I also served as student council president for one year. During my university years, I made international experience a priority: I studied for one semester in Berlin and worked every summer as a hotel receptionist abroad.

In the final two years of university, I worked as an event coordinator at the International Gastromasa Gastronomy Conference, one of the largest gastronomy events in the world. I later accepted an offer from Acun Medya to work in Mexico, which led me to take a short break from my studies. Upon returning to Türkiye, I rejoined Rena Travel, where I had previously completed an internship, and completed my degree in Business Administration (English-taught) at Bahçeşehir University.

From the age of 16 until the end of my university education, I spent nearly all of my free time in Sultanahmet. After becoming a partner in the agency I worked with, I strengthened the academic side of my profession by graduating from the Tourist Guiding Department of Cappadocia University. I obtained my official tourist guide license after successfully completing professional qualification exams in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

For several years, I have been working as a travel writer for OGGUSTO and Hürriyet Seyahat. Since 2023, I have been serving as the Director of the Latin America and Spain Market at Ağaçlı AŞ, one of Türkiye’s most established companies.
